I am a Romanian artist based in San Francisco. After leaving my home country 25 years ago, I’ve moved repeatedly within the US. In my artistic work, I explore themes of (lost) home, memory, identity, connection, and time, primarily through the medium of photography, while integrating asemic writing and video work as well.  By means of a stream-of-consciousness process, my art practice shapes into a poetic space within which I search for new equilibriums in the wake of dislocation and in the absence of home.

I explore a way of looking that is intimate, slow, investigative, and skeptical of easy narratives while engaging with the seemingly chaotic, and the melancholy of the unsettled that lies beyond the fixed and the decipherable.
